Editorial Policies
Publication in a peer-reviewed journal is essential to maintaining the academic and scientific standards of the Greenfort International Journal of Applied Medical Science (GIJAMS). The journal is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethical publishing and follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics. All parties involved in the publication process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher, are expected to adhere to these principles.
All manuscripts submitted to GIJAMS undergo an initial editorial screening to assess suitability, originality, and ethical compliance, followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review process in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly merit, originality, scientific quality, ethical soundness, and relevance to the journal’s scope, without discrimination based on nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, or personal beliefs.
Authors must ensure that their submissions are original, have not been previously published (except on recognized preprint servers), and are not under consideration elsewhere. They are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of their work and must avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, and any violation of copyright or third-party rights. All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
Editors ensure fair, unbiased, and confidential handling of manuscripts and make independent decisions without influence from the publisher or commercial interests. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, confidential, and constructive evaluations, disclose any conflicts of interest, and report any ethical concerns.
Research involving human participants or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and include appropriate ethics committee approval and informed consent where required. The journal takes allegations of misconduct seriously and will take appropriate action, including issuing corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern, to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.
