Authorship Policy

Authorship should be restricted to individuals who have made substantial and meaningful intellectual contributions to the research, including the conception and design of the study, execution of the work, acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data, and drafting or critical revision of the manuscript for important intellectual content.

All authors must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Have made a significant intellectual contribution to the work;
  2. Have participated in drafting or revising the manuscript;
  3. Have approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission; and
  4. Agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the research are appropriately investigated and resolved.

All individuals who meet these criteria must be listed as co-authors. Contributors who participated in specific aspects of the work but did not meet the criteria for authorship (such as technical assistance, data collection, language editing, or general supervision) should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgments section, with their permission.

One author must be designated as the corresponding author, who will be responsible for communication with the journal during the submission, peer-review, and publication process, and for confirming that all listed authors have approved the final manuscript for publication in the Greenfort International Journal of Applied Medical Science (GIJAMS).

GIJAMS does not permit guest, gift, or ghost authorship and follows internationally recognized authorship and publication ethics standards.
