Archiving & Preservation Policy
Greenfort International Journal of Applied Medical Science (GIJAMS) is committed to ensuring the permanent availability, accessibility and preservation of all published scholarly content.
Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)
GIJAMS permits and encourages authors to deposit versions of their manuscripts in institutional, subject-based and personal repositories without embargo. Authors may archive:
- Compliance with the journal’s structure and author guidelines
- Pre-print versions (before peer review),
- Accepted manuscripts (after peer review),
- Final published versions (publisher PDF).
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, allowing free distribution, reuse and archiving with proper attribution.
Digital Preservation and Long-Term Archiving
This journal is Digitally Archived in the PKP Preservation Network (PN), Internet Archive. To ensure long-term digital preservation and prevent content loss, GIJAMS commits to archiving its content in independent, trusted digital repositories.
Persistent Identifiers and Metadata
All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) via Crossref to ensure permanent discoverability and stable citation. Article metadata is regularly maintained and made available to indexing and archiving services.
